I have loved textile design since I was little. Mum often found fabric missing from clothes and soft furnishings because I decided to make new outfits for my dolls.

I studied textile design but kept it as a personal interest/hobby. I went into arts funding and development, a world I loved.

I accidentally ended up in the corporate world for a few years. Although I worked with fantastic people and gained a lot of skills, it was never the world for me. 

In March 2026 I decided to leave that job to return to a world of creativity and art. I now work part-time for a charity that promotes high quality audio description in theatre and screen, and I crochet a lot.
